Leonard e Butler nel mirino di LeBron James
Secondo Brian Windhorst, Insider NBA per ESPN, LeBron James è stato in contatto sia con Kawhi Leonard che con Jimmy Butler, che diventeranno entrambi free-agent quest’estate dopo aver rifiutato le rispettive player-option.

I Lakers al momento hanno lo spazio salariale per firmare solo un giocatore al massimo salariale.
Leonard ha segnato 26.6 punti, 7.3 rimbalzi e 3.3 assist a partita in questa stagione per i Raptors, che ha condotto, al momento, fino alle Eastern Conference Finals ed è stato inserito, pochi giorni fa, nel secondo quintetto All-NBA e nel secondo quintetto All-Defensive.
Butler, invece, ha messo a segno 18.7 punti, 5.3 rimbalzi e 4.0 assist in questa stagione, i Sixers vorrebbero confermarlo, ma probabilmente potrebbero non avere abbastanza soldi per firmare nuovamente sia lui che Tobias Harris. Il giocatore ex-Bulls e Wolves, secondo quanto riportato da Arash Markazi del Los Angeles Times, andrebbe subito ai Lakers, qualora i gialloviola dovessero offrirgli il massimo salariale ($141 milioni in 4 anni).

Una cosa è chiara: i Lakers devono aggiungere almeno una superstar quest’estate, visto che LeBron compie 35 anni a dicembre e ha bisogno di più aiuto se i losangelini hanno intenzione di tornare ai play-off.
